Our mission is a tidier desk, and a calmer mind
We exist to bring quiet, practical structure to the paperwork of later life, one folder at a time.
HomeHow Almanac Desk began
Almanac Desk started with a simple observation: many households in Bangkok were quietly overwhelmed by drawers and boxes of retirement paperwork that had never been sorted. Statements, certificates, and notices sat in piles, often untouched for years, not because anyone lacked capability, but because there was never a calm moment set aside to deal with them.
We set up a small desk practice built around one idea — that organizing paperwork should feel like tidying a room, not facing a test. Our founders came from clerical and administrative backgrounds and noticed how much relief people felt simply from seeing their records laid out clearly, labelled, and put away with intention.
Today, Almanac Desk works with individuals and families across Bangkok, offering private sessions, guided workshops, and coordination packages. We do not offer advice on financial or legal choices. Our role stays firmly on the organizational side: sorting, labelling, and helping records make sense, so that whatever decisions come next are easier to approach.

Understanding retirement paperwork in Thailand
Households across Bangkok often accumulate a wide range of documents connected to their working years: employment records, pension statements, government correspondence, and personal identification papers. Over time, these can become scattered across drawers, folders, and storage boxes, making them difficult to locate when needed.
Almanac Desk brings a structured, clerical approach to this challenge. Our coordinators focus on categorization, labelling, and creating simple reference systems that a person or family can maintain themselves going forward. We draw on practical experience with paperwork organization rather than specialized advisory training, and we are transparent about the boundaries of our role.
Whether you are working through a single drawer or coordinating records across an entire household, the goal remains the same: paperwork that is easy to find, easy to understand at a glance, and easy to hand over to whoever needs it next.
