1. Definitions

"Service" refers to the document sorting, workshop, and coordination offerings provided by Almanac Desk. "User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual who books or attends a session. "We", "us", or "our" refers to Almanac Desk. "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session or submitting an enquiry through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and over who have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3. Service Description

Almanac Desk provides organizational and educational support for retirement-related paperwork, including one-to-one document sorting, a timeline and checklist workshop, and a family records coordination package. Services are currently available in the Bangkok metropolitan area, Thailand, and may be limited by scheduling availability.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate contact information when booking, to attend scheduled sessions or provide reasonable notice of cancellation, and to treat our coordinators respectfully. You remain responsible for all decisions made regarding your own paperwork; our role is limited to organizational and educational support.

5. Intellectual Property

Materials provided during workshops, including the timeline template and reference booklet, remain the intellectual property of Almanac Desk. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use these materials for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reproduction or distribution for commercial use is not permitted without our written consent.

6. Payment Terms

Current pricing is published in Thai Baht (฿) on our Solutions page: One-to-One Document Sorting at ฿4,300, the Retirement Paperwork Timeline Toolkit at ฿15,600, and the Family Records Coordination Package at ฿27,500. Payment terms and accepted methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. Cancellations made with reasonable notice may be eligible for rescheduling; refund eligibility will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Our services are organizational and educational only. We do not provide financial, legal, medical, or investment advice, and nothing in our sessions should be interpreted as such. Any decisions regarding your paperwork, finances, or estate remain entirely your own.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim for a consistent, careful process, we do not guarantee specific outcomes from any session, workshop, or package. Almanac Desk is not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or medical advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Almanac Desk's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the relevant session or package. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, including events beyond our reasonable control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Almanac Desk against claims arising from your misuse of our services or violation of these Terms, except where such claims result from our own negligence.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a booking prior to the scheduled session with reasonable notice. Sections relating to intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination of any individual booking.

12. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these Terms will first be addressed through informal discussion between the parties. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Thailand.

13. General Provisions

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Almanac Desk regarding our services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date, and continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
